DREWIL RENEWS DNV CERTIFICATION
FOR PILOT AND EMBARKATION LADDERS
Confirmation of the highest standards of safety and quality
We are pleased to announce that Drewil Entership has successfully renewed its DNV certification, covering both pilot ladders and embarkation (rescue) ladders. The updated certification confirms compliance with all current international standards, including ISO 799-1:2019, ISO 5489:2008 and SOLAS regulations.
As part of the renewal, we have updated Modules B and D, reaffirming the quality and safety of our solutions — from design and manufacturing through to final delivery onboard.
For our clients and partners, this provides a clear assurance that Drewil ladders continue to meet the strictest industry requirements and are fully certified for international maritime operations.
What’s next?
This is just the beginning. In the coming months, we will introduce new materials, extended ladder lengths, and functional design improvements that required significant development efforts.
Our mission remains clear: to raise the bar for quality, safety, and innovation in the pilot ladder industry — for the benefit of pilots, ship crews, and all who rely on our products at sea.
Acknowledgments
We extend our sincere thanks to the DNV team — Ms. Iza, Mr. Paweł, Mr. Jerzy, and Mr. Knut — for their meticulous approach and support throughout the certification process. We look forward to continued cooperation on new initiatives to further strengthen product quality, market competitiveness, and fairness in the industry.
